FAQ

Build questions

Is it still worth building a Hackintosh in 2026?

It can be, if you already own compatible parts, need an upgradeable desktop, or want macOS and Windows on one machine. For some people a Mac mini is the better buy, and we will tell you if that’s you. See Is a Hackintosh worth it?

Which is better for Hackintosh, Intel or AMD?

Intel is still the easiest and most compatible choice. AMD Ryzen works well with the right patches but has some limitations, such as no native virtualization in macOS. Our CPU guide explains the trade-offs.

Can I use an NVIDIA graphics card?

Not for modern macOS. Any recent NVIDIA card has no macOS driver. You can keep it for Windows and add a supported Radeon card, or use Intel integrated graphics.

Do you sell complete Hackintosh PCs?

No. We help you choose parts from retailers you trust, and install macOS on your own hardware.
