Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you use HackintoshBuilder’s website and services.

1. Our services

HackintoshBuilder provides remote technical services, including Hackintosh installation, macOS upgrades, troubleshooting, custom OpenCore EFI configuration, build consultation and OpenCore Legacy Patcher setup. The exact scope of each job is described in the quote we send you.

2. Compatibility checks and quotes

Compatibility checks are free and based on the information you provide. Quotes are valid for the hardware and scope described. If your hardware turns out to be different from what you told us, we may need to update the quote.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate hardware information
  • Back up any important data before a session. Operating system installation always carries some risk of data loss
  • Be present during remote sessions and follow on-screen instructions, especially for BIOS and boot steps
  • Use your own legally obtained software and accounts

4. Apple software and licensing

macOS is Apple software. Apple’s macOS license agreement only permits installation on Apple-branded hardware. By using our Hackintosh services you acknowledge this and accept responsibility for your use of macOS. HackintoshBuilder does not sell or distribute macOS; the operating system is downloaded directly from Apple’s servers. See our disclaimer.

5. Remote access

Remote sessions happen only with your permission and while you are present. You can end a session at any time. We will never ask for your passwords.

6. Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and accepted payment methods, are stated in your quote. Work begins once the quote is accepted.

7. Limitations

A Hackintosh is not a genuine Mac. Some features that depend on Apple hardware may not work, and future macOS updates can change what works. We do our best to deliver a stable system but cannot guarantee compatibility with every future update, app or accessory. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
