If your problem isn’t listed, ask anyway. Most issues come down to the EFI, the BIOS or the macOS version.

How we troubleshoot

We find the cause, not just a workaround

Random config tweaks from forums often hide one problem and create two new ones. We start from evidence: your OpenCore log, verbose boot output, IORegistry and system logs.

If your EFI is beyond saving, we rebuild it cleanly for your hardware, which is often faster than patching a prebuilt download.

What to send us first

  • A short description of the problem and when it started
  • Your CPU, motherboard or laptop model, GPU and Wi-Fi card
  • Your macOS version and OpenCore version (if you know it)
  • A photo of the screen where it stops, if it doesn’t boot
  • Your EFI folder zipped, if you can access it

FAQ

Troubleshooting questions

Can you fix a Hackintosh that won’t boot at all?

Usually yes. If Windows or another OS boots on the same machine, we can connect remotely through it. If nothing boots, we guide you to create a fresh USB with a known-good EFI from another computer.

Do you charge if you can’t fix it?

We quote before we start, based on the problem you describe. If we find the problem is hardware that macOS simply cannot support, we tell you straight away.

Can you fix a Hackintosh built with a prebuilt EFI from the internet?

Yes, and it is one of the most common requests. Prebuilt EFIs often contain the wrong SMBIOS, shared serial numbers or patches for different hardware. We clean them up or rebuild them.

How quickly can you help?

Most fixes are done within a day or two of first contact, and often on the same day.
